Festive opening International Service Desk Maastricht Region
Amid great interest, the International Service Desk Maastricht Region has been opened in Mosae Forum on Friday 27 November 2009. Maastricht mayor Gerd Leers performed the opening. In the build-up to this opening, XCent Expat Support wrote a report for the Maastricht council. It includes an advice on how to set up and expand the International Service Desk Maastricht Region. Over the years, XCent Expat Support has acquired great expertise in this field. XCent Expat Support congratulates Maastricht with the opening of the Desk and wishes them an expat rich future!

Article in the XPat Journal with Maastricht School of Management - March 20th 2009
The spring issue of the XPat Journal appeared in the beginning of March. Brabant offers assistance to expats – January 2009
The city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch reports that the ‘Brabantse Ontwikkelings Maatschappij’ (BOM) has plans to open an expatcenter in the province of Noord-Brabant to offer assistance to expats. Besides this the city reports that already a commercial company which offers support to international companies and educational institutes who want to hire foreign personnel and students is based in ‘s-Hertogenbosch; XCent Expat Support. ’They offer assistance with the immigration and residence procedures for highly skilled knowledge migrant, working migrants and students’. Performa fair in Utrecht – October 8th 2008
Wednesday October 8th and Thursday October 9th the annual fair for human resources, Performa, takes place in the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. XCent Expat Support will be present to give you detailed information about Dutch immigrationprocedures in case you wish to hire foreign personnel. XCent Expat Support in China – August 20th 2008
Xcent Expat Support will be present in Beijing several days during the Olympics as of August 20th. Their program contains of appointments with Chinese (governmental) institutions as well as networking with Chinese companies. Besides this XCent Expat Support will be attending the Holland promotion at the Holland Heineken House, where approximately 500 Chinese companies will be present.

This year XCent Expat Support will be present again at the annual Expatica fair ‘I am not a tourist’ held on Sunday October 12th in the Beurs van Berlage in Amsterdam. Will you also pay us a visit at standnumber 48?

First Chinese version book ‘The Dutch and their Habits’ introduced    -     June 3rd 2008
Tuesday June 3rd the first Chinese version of the informationbook ‘The Dutch and their Habits’ was handed over to the chairman of ‘The European Chinese Chamber of Commerce’ (ECCC), mr. Cho Ya Hsii by XCent EXpat Support's consultant mr. Peter Paul de Jong.
The meeting of the ECCC, which was attended by about 30 interested Chinese and Dutch parties, informed about the different aspects of doing business with China. Manners in China, Chinese investments in Europe and the meaning of China for the MKB was explained. The meeting was ended with the introduction of the Chinese version of the informationbook ‘The Dutch and their Habits’ in which Chinese entrepreneurs and Chinese migrant can read about interesting and peculiar manners of the Dutch.
